Who We Are

We’ve been working in the research industry for over 25 years now but we’re still young at heart and have lots of enthusiasm for the job. Every project is conducted by director level qualitative researchers, all of whom have been in research for at least 15 years.

We also work with a director level quantitative specialist who has over 20 years in the business, client and agency side.

Janet Morgan

Managing Director. Janet has been in the research and marketing business for over 20 years gaining much of her experience at Quaestor. She loves getting to the heart of the problem, understanding how people think and translating this into straight talking, business strategies. She was co-founder of lemonlime research where she was instrumental in developing its client base through strong professional relationships and increasing its turnover year on year. She is fully involved in all projects undertaken by Gingersnap research.

She’s keen on yoga and a nice glass of wine.

Caroline Bond

A highly experienced qualitative researcher with extensive experience in consumer research. Caroline worked at Quaestor as Director of the Qualitative Research for 10 years. She is incredibly creative and insightful with a strong business acumen. Over the years Caroline has also had a focus on family and children research.

Linda Hancock

A specialist in consumer research she has worked alongside many blue chip clients delivering insightful research solutions and actionable results. She is an enthusiastic, thorough and creative researcher with 13 years qualitative agency side experience. She was an Associate Director at Quaestor where she worked for 9 years prior to becoming a consultant.

Anna Dawson

Anna has specialist knowledge of the food and grocery shopper. Prior to freelancing, she worked for over ten years at IGD, the leading food and grocery think tank. Her last role at IGD was as business manager of the Consumer Insight Department, which conducted all IGD’s shopper and consumer research. She has worked on topics such as store formats, purchasing behaviour, shopper types and food issues.

Our media experts

Gingersnap Research work closely with a great team of media experts who help bring to life research findings via;

  • Key insight films – ideal for senior management with little time to read the presentation
  • Vox pop interviews – professionally edited with footage of the subject and soundtrack
  • Observational filming – to help understand customer behaviour and interaction in more detail
  • Ethnographic film and video diaries – illustrating product trials/usage as and when they happen in ‘real life’ situations
  • Group and depth filming/streaming – for those unable to attend the sessions themselves.
